Edit: Anyway, I think what happened here may be what piqued Vriska's interest in John in the first place. Remember, her big thing is that she likes high stakes games.

Also may explain exactly why she put him to sleep, and why she looked pissed off (because he failed to meet her initial expectation, by trying to prototype something dumb).

Key thing to remember: We don't know which instance of Vriska put John to sleep. There is no hint as to where she is in her personal time line when she put him to sleep. For all we know she had a very good reason for doing this, and she really does deserve that trophy.

Actually, I could see Bro getting cloned. I wouldn't bet money on it, but I could see it happening, and he's about the only person I can see getting cloned right now. Largely because his death reminds me of Crono's, and Crono was saved with a clone.
