I really fail to see how Vriska was at fault here.

Jack was the one who stabbed John. It was GONNA happen. If Jack wants you dead then there ain't nothing you can do at this point.

I'm not entirely convinced it HAS to happen this way exactly all the time right now. It seems more of an excuse more then anything for some of the little details. If you can do it a different way, but get the same ending, then what did the method matter? granted, that means some of this stuff still has to happen a certain way, but not everything all the time, OR ELSE.

Like I said earlier, someone is going to snap about all this pre-destination crap and I'm guessing it is going to be John cause if it is one thing Heros do it is fuck fate.

A vriska did it.

No, it's not "it was going to happen" because of predestination, "it was going to happen" because Noir is a teleporting demigod who managed to find someone who is as much of a ninja as Bro, and then kill him and Davesprite while almost destroying the planet. John would not stand a chance. Nor would he have been able to escape for long, especially considering the 24-hour time limit. The best escape he could do is to hide on a meteor while Noir goes around destroying every single planet in an effort to find him.

Noir was never going to leave John alone. He saw him with Liv Tyler. He was always going to hunt him down and kill him for ever being that much of a threat, just as he did with Bro.

Noir coming up to kill John was inevitable, irrelevant of weird time shit. Having Vriska lead John to the Quest Bed where his death will get him God Tiers is not only reasonable, but pretty much his best option. Regardless of weird time shit.

I honestly find this to be Vriska's least infuriating act so far.

Can someone explain to me why people hate Vriska but love pretty much every other Magnificent Bastard villain ever? I don't understand it. Yes, she's messing with people and claiming she's in control of everything. It's also been pretty well established by an omnipotent character that she'll get her comeuppance, and by the creator himself that she's a arrogant bitch who you're not necessarily SUPPOSED to like as a person, and definitely aren't supposed to agree with her actions. She's constantly setting herself up to get horribly murdered and alienate everyone else, and yet people are treating her like she's pulling some incredibly clever plan that will work out flawlessly. I just don't get it.

I guess it's because she's so utterly convinced that she'll come out of this on top, and through the most obnoxious and jerkassish conversations convinces everyone else of the same. It's not so much what she does as how she does it and the attitude she does it with. It's obnoxious as all fuck.

I'm actually starting to get to the point where the frustration of seeing Vriska involved in everything ever is outpacing the enjoyment I get from this comic, and I'm considering not reading anymore. Though I know I'll keep reading, because I want to see what happens to everyone but her. I'd be fine if she just stopped appearing altogether, I don't even care anymore.
