The whole thing with the thing I brought up was that from Vriska's perspective it's weird for her to only be able to give WV self-doubts in the mind when she can have the opportunity to just take the thing from him entirely.
I'm not saying it's impossible that there are thus far unseen stuff preventing her from doing so in the future, I'm just saying it's just kind of weird.
