I'd assume Aradia is more powerful but also at a lower tier, just due to their individual realms of influence and a little bit of foreshadowing as to the usefulness of Vriska's powers (Terezi: Luck doesn't actually matter).

Also because Vriska was god tier when Jack first showed up at the scratch, and Vriska was there and could do nothing to stop him while Aradia apparently locked him down immediately upon waking.

It is, and the weird relationship they have (had?) that makes this a thing that is true is why despite knowing that Tavros had zero chance against Vriska and that Vriska has been killing small troll children for her entire life by feeding them to her Lusus I was still surprised when she ganked him. I kind of expected her to just bitch him about and leave him alive.

Though if he's one of the few/only Trolls with a living dreamself/possible resurrection left, the whole thing makes a lot more sense from the character Vriska has developed so far, at least in so far as pertaining to her relationship with Tavros.

If this isn't the case, and she killed him without any 'iron in the fire' designed to make sure he doesn't stay that way, then I suppose it illustrates just how much their relationship has died since Tavros left her to die slow on her quest bed.

I have to agree with Celes here. I'm not expecting her to simply die anytime soon - karma hits me as a bit too much cliché at this point and it'll serve only for the purpose of, oh, hey the character made for everyone to hate is dead, woo instead of, y'know, trying to make the character more than just that - so I guess she's going to break down soon and stop being a jerk to everyone. Chances it'll involve a flashback to the first time she had to feed her lusus seem high.

I think if Vriska was going to stop being a bitch, she would have already. Her actions have already gotten her killed, and she showed no shift in attitude, so why would it now? It's been foreshadowed heavily and clearly that she will die, but I doubt it'll happen until sometime around the endgame.

She knew about God Tiers. She knew that she'd come back much, much stronger. It's like the one thing that wouldn't cause a shift in her attitude. It was her plan all along.

The only thing that could possibly serve as a punishment for her is to have her plan fail horribly(Likely to happen soon) and die without accomplishing shit(Unlikely). She was already: Roboslapped, Haunted by the ghosts of her victims, Lost half of her body in an explosion, viciously beaten to almost-death and the slowly and agonizingly bled the rest of her life and wrote one extra !. She does a lot of shit, but also suffered a lot

Betting she's going to be one of the surviving trolls and not redeem one bit, just to spite us.

Continuation of theory: Vriska kills all the other trolls in her plan to kill the slayer. And it works.

Alternate theory: The death of all the other trolls is her fault but an accident, and Hussie tries to humanize her over the deaths of her fallen compatriots.

Much that I hate Andrew Hussie with all the rage of the burning stars and loathe his poorly explained nonsensical etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc, I didn't really think this needed to be explained beyond what was shown in the flash, which was that there was this secret thing we didn't know about, and now we do.

I guess it implies some different rules for how quest beds work, IE only your dreamself needs to die on it for you to awaken in GODMODE.
