Well if LE was there, then the universe would be gone, so he's probably not at that stage yet. I do think that its oly a matter of time though, and that Scratch's role is done.

If an ominiscient/omnipotent figure is no longer needed, then its hardly a matter of time before it happens. I think Scratch is going to help Slick kill Snowman or something.

Since I've just now found out that all the intermissions were actually really important, would anyone mind posting links to when the parts where they start? It'd really be helpful for those of us who are just now trying to go back and read them all.

I don't really think much of the Intermission will be relevant. Just that it's part of the Troll universe's future, that Jack/SS is in it, and that Snowman is in it.

Questioning the relevance of the intermission.

The intermission was not immediately relevant, but it is now unfolding into a big role. It may be possible that the rest of the Felt is irrelevant, for being dead in SS's current timeline, but they did set up the separation of the Midnight Crew (across timelines so they could yell at trolls to do stuff) and I expect this to be the most relevant result of the Felt towards the end.
