Aradia's still hanging out at the Green Sun. Sollux made it there while dreaming, or dead. Aradia implies that the fact that he was able to leave his bubble has to do with his duality. Then, Aradia mentions that two humans will come by soon, almost certainly Rose and Dave, as well as the surviving trolls. Then she implies that Sollux is, or will soon be, dead. Then Sollux, who for some reason can see the sun despite his newfound blindness, says that the sun appears to be 2D, which confuses the ehck out of me, too.

By the way:

"TA: whats a funeral? "

If there was ever a single sentence that sums up how screwed-up troll society is...

Oh wait! Discussion on another forum made this make sense. Sollux is half-dead, somehow. Note that one of his eyes is blind-black, and the other is DEAD-white. So, he's half-blind, too. Hence the "O_0" face, instead of "0_0". The Green Motherfucking Sun looks 2D to him because only one of his eyes is working (due to it being dead, ironically), so he's got no depth-perception.

Don't ask me how he could be half-dead. All I can think of is "because bifurcation"

Well Aradia did mention earlier that he was "doomed", which seems to be some sort of impending death.

Actually you still have depth perception even if you only have one eye.

The joke is more like what Karesh just pointed out.
