I've got a feeling that Jaspers somehow wound up on a Transmaterializer after being appearified by the Skaianet lab, became the other Lalonde's pet for a time, and then got Transmaterialized again when he died.

Well yeah, that's the idea. I wrote it up some pages back.

I have just finished with that a couple of days ago. Currently trudging on through scratch.css shit, hopefully my entire archive binge will end tonight.

I'm nearing the Doc Scratch interlude in my rereading. It is amazing how much my enthusiasm dropped for the endeavor upon reaching Act 5.

It's all about the kids in original Homestuck narration.

The ironic thing is that this thread looks like it exploded tenfold in activity during Hivebent.

Reading through Hivebent is fine. Re-reading it though, for some reason, is just so goddamn unappealing. When I was re-reading Homestuck a few weeks ago, I skipped over large chunks of Act 5 because none of the conversations between trolls were really noteworthy. In fact a lot of them took forever to read because they were stupidly long and deciphering their typing quirks is a huge pain. Way back when I read through Hivebent in it's entirety I got used to their typing quirks and could breeze through their conversations, but now it's like I'm looking at gibberish again when it comes to certain trolls (most noticeably Sollux, and Feferi a bit because fuck her Hs)

The major reasons I'm so much less interested in rereading Act 5 is that it's so much more recent and it's more focused on exposition and long stretches of dialogue than action, so it has a tendency to be kind of a slog to read through. The material is still entertaining, but it's more of a chore to be entertained, if you get what I mean.

At least early Act5Act2 is still delirious biznasty funny, which makes up for the A5A1 slog somewhat. And alsQWOPPK3 DZASD[#Q2
