I still believe I missed out on how 'bad' Bird was. I mean he tended to disagree sarcastically/caustically, but I never saw Otaku level putdowns, just "Yeah, well, that view is nice and all, but you're wrong and my way is better."

I'd like to see Bird at his worst though, any specific posts I should look at?

I've always enjoyed Mashironen's moderation. And general posting. Not that I see a lot of general posting, but she's certainly contributed to this conversation. Admittedly, I am regretful that I was the one that broke the 'Otaku Love' news to her. No one should have to suffer that.

Wind-Up-Bird didn't have the ability to let one mention of electronica/techno music pass without unpleasantely making his opinion known. Repeatedly.

If you cross-reference me and Wind-Up-Bird you get something like 'Spaz Attack'.

Just curious, but how has this become one of the longest running threads that breaks so many rules?

I'll go with satire/boredom and amusement from the forums mods, but this totally breaks satology.

Though it may break rules and such, it's healthy to have a free-for-all thread like this once and a while. It allows posters to release some tension, and with so much mod participation, it allows for a more comfortable relationship with the leaders of this forum.

But, that's just my perspective...
