I personally don't think shiney is either, he's more of an asshat, mostly because I keep sending him flowers and he never calls *cries

And then after he "banned himself" he would always ask me to post something for him. And forced me to read his fanfiction which crossed over over 20 difference series and had over 200 characters, including, but not limited to Steve Urkle and Darth Vador. >_< I wonder if he's happy he made such a big impact on the NPF community, and not in a good way. For those of you who missed the time of the otaku, be glad. Also I'm suprised this topic has been up this long. ^^ I would be worried about posting here, fpr fear or band or something, but pretty much every moderator has so... I wanted to comment on the evil of otaku. *shudder*

Ahhh so many memories of the bannings. Otaku son had it coming, and I wish I hadn't read everybody elses post about his AIM and PM conversations. Hindsight is 20/20 and whatnot.
I'm suprised no one mentioned I flip wilson/I don't flip wilson/etc, the man with the seizure-inducing avatar. He's the first person I remember ever getting IP banned. Maybe because he's one of the only bannings I was online for, other times I'd show up late to find out about a recent ban, but with all the post deleted. |

While we're on the subject, how about PSR - "Nintendo Nintendo Nintendo, Nintendo?" -director?
Whatever happened to Lucas, anyway? Ahhh, good times. Good times.

Lucas came back; his ban was only for ten days. He got in one last statement in that Suicide Theme Park thread before it fell into obscurity.
Still, seeing as how soon that was after the discussion thread in which we slugged it out over maybe half a dozen posts, I opted to take his ban over a Discussion offense as a moral victory. It didn't actually prove anything, but it still said something, ya know?

Sometime, I've got to go through all Otaku Son's posts and find out just how greasy he was. I thought he was just a nuisance, like krylo's post on Otaku Son's Last Stand pointed out with multiple examples.

Anyways, all this really exemplifies the main problem with tact and etiquette -- they're nice, and rather important, but they get taken too far. If you can't tip off someone like these people about their general un-wantedness, how does that benefit people on the whole?

He was weird... I remember he wanted to write for my webcomic but never did, and then he wanted me to put him in as a charecter to show-up my "otaku" charecters. His arrogance just seemed too unreal... I was like 'wtf, mates?'
