Actually, it's a good point that the midi should probably not start automatically, I have to disagree on the caterwauling.

Its just an opera. This was never the most heart warming scene of FF6 for me.
All it ever did was make me wonder what the hell they did to Celes to give her such a vocal range, and also how nobody noticed a fanged octopus and his army of green and yellow human-sized rabid rats climbing onto the rafters carrying a 4 ton metal thing.
