I'm not sure why the Light Warriors worry about obstacles or monsters standing in their way. They are nothing compared to the obstacles and monsters within the party.

I'm going to go with his mind being broken into a thousand pieces and his first words are something along the lines of "Red Rum, Red Rum" or "nekodah!" or various bizarre non-sequiturs.

duh, of course he is. being poofed the last 20 feet of a thousand mile journey rife with monsters, poison, famine and fighter will clearly leave him incomprehensible and hadoken happy for at least the next 10 strips.

Also, I too am fond of that simple, concise Oh, it is very apropriate, but i wonder if it would have been any lessened by fighter going poo as well.

The monsters in their way just add on to the waiting list for the list of their problems (it's overcrowded you see). It's like poking an infected wound with a rusty needle found in an inner city gutter.

Silly, I guess. I mean, Sarda could have just told them what their next quest would be and where it was BEFORE all this crap. Would have saved time. Expecially if it turns out to be farther away in the direction that they just came from.

Stupid omnipotent wizards and their "I felt like it." Stupid feelings.

I could say anything I want here, and only half the people who see my posts at all would ever know.
