Damn...
Sorry, i don't know where to put this because the "Rules" thing doesn't say much on it, from my quick scan...
But, uh, shit, I mean, are there any fucking limitations on what kind of language we're allowed to use here? I've seen some things that make other forums look like they're filled with soaped up cunts. That is, I've never seen a forum which allows so much cursing? Is this right, or did I simply hit every overlooked curseword very quickly and am now about to get into big trouble? EDIT: This post needs a point. Um... Should this (I) survive, talk about the first time you cursed. I was playing volleyball. ---------- That ought to settle any problems here.

Shit yeah, you can swear all you fucking want here!
... within the limits of common sense, of course. None of us especially desires hysterical rants consisting of 50% swear words or something like that, but as far as the natural occurrance of such words goes, knock yourself out. |

Anyway, yeah, we here at the NPF realize that words, for the most part, or merely that and not one is worse than another just because. No, it depends on how those words are used. Even the least "bad" words can be more hurtful than any curse word when strung together properly.

From what I can tell, curse words around here should be used to exaggerate a point, or describe a point or somesuch. Example: "Thats some Mother fucking crazy ass shit right there if I ever saw any." As opposed to, "Thats some crazy stuff right there if I ever saw any."
But once said words start to attack other persons upon the board or start being deragotory towards a certain class of people you can expect yourself to be out of here. Example: "You mother fucking bastard, you're a fucking retard for thinking that, cause you're an asshole!" or "Damn them (insert group here), Their fucking dicks is what they are." There is a more polite way of saying such things while being completely acceptable. "Lets step away from the computer before we say some things we'll regret saying." Not quite the power of the first but it gets the point across that niether of you agree with eachother. And just don't say the other one in any way.

Yeah, a certain amount of swearing is considered par for the course here, and that's one of the reasons I like this board. (Tho' I haven't really seen the C-word around here much.) As long as you can otherwise comport yourself like an adult, you get to use a certain amount of adult language. Fuck yeah!
And I think this may have been just as well off in the "forum-related stuff" forum...but that's up to the modstaff to decide.

It kind of depends, really. We like to let people talk as they will, but there's always a line. If you're edging into the deragotory stuff like "wetback", "cunt", "nigger", "kike", and so forth and use them against other people...expect Shiney to show up with the banhammer.
