Fighter could be right. Maybe Lefeinese show their affections by tossing people in jail, and yelling, and showing them weapons.
I mean, Japanese bow instead of shaking hands. What a bunch of freaks!

O O... woah... behoove? What's that mean?
And is it just me, or does that place look kind of asian? The windows look asian to me. I don't know about anyone else, but I think it looks kinda asian. Either that, or they locked them in a boat jail. It kind of looks like a boat in the background. Might be a boat. Or an asian boat. Maybe they're in an asian boat. But I think they're in a boat.

The comic may be kinda weird, but the above post calling it that brings to mind pots, and kettles, and accusations of blackness.
Black Mage is happy (in the dream) because he's going back to Hell, where he can once again have a chance at A. ruling it and B. destroying the world. This is to say nothing of his sheer glee over the deaths of his incredibly annoying party members. And, I don't know, doesn't Asian architecture have more like, rice paper and so forth? The room they're in reminds me more of some New England storehouse than anything else.

I'd say that the reason that he's happy is because, even though he died, he gets to in the end watch those he hates most (Namely, the other Light Warrior) die first. And he's the evil, petty sort of person that can appreciate that no matter the circumstances. Which is why I love him.

Why wouldn't the man the universe picks on and tortures want to die?

Yay! I was right about what the thread title would be!
Moving on...if they were to be hung, BM would die first just because "everything exists to hurt BM". Of course, he's happy in his dream because he gets to see them die before he does.

Whats really so wierd? I mean seeing them hung up at the beginning of the comic, until it becomes apparent that its just Black Mage dreaming, whle hes in jail. Which is where they have been thrown. And its obvious that hes happy because of seeing the others die before him. >_> Not that wierd of a comic. Also I love Fighter in this one.

Well, I imagine that another tradition would be to throw cans of paint as their way of saying "I'm sorry" or something.
