Samuri Showdown 1 Moves

i recently got a copy of samuri showdown for the snes, abd it is a great fighting game. just one tiny problem... I can't figure out the moves/combos.

i've tried googling it for about an hour yesterday, but the only things that come up are for s.s. 2 and/or 4. the only moves i can figure out are the ones that involve "down,forward, A/B/X/Y". even then it's iffy (example- when down, forward, "Med.sword" is pushed with Jubei, half the time he charges with a giant slash upward at the end, the other half he does something akin to Honda's thousand slaps [street fighter])

if anyone can give me some help or point me where to find some, you can borrow my soul for three and half minutes.
