Who you gonna call?
So as the July release date of Ghostbusters draws closer I am getting more and more excited, but at the same time the development is bringing some rather crushing disappointments.
The PS3 and 360 versions are not going to have local co-op, they are saving that for the Wii and PS2. And only the Wii and PS2. Also you can't cross the streams. Kinda sad, since that was the first thing I was gonna do. :stressed:

And this is bullshit that happens a lot.
Yes, both the Xbox and PS3 have online capabilities. Yes, that means you can play a game coop via online. No, that does NOT mean that it's more fun than playing coop with a buddy next to you on the couch. How much more room would it take to allow offline coop on the disc? |

I don't know how to feel about this game. I really want to be excited about this game, and I've heard some good things. It's just that for some reason this game reeks the stench of awesome idea, poor application, mediocre at best, and I can't say for sure why I feel that way, though being on every platform didn't console me my fears.

I was at least interested in this game having seen some of the physics and screenshots - they looked to be handling the Ghostbusters franchise with some delicacy and care - but after all the delays, change of publishers, multi-platform release, and my momentary thought of hey you know I'm kind of buying into a lot of hype I'm not sure anymore.
