Comics Metal Gear Solid: The Comic?

So my sister was in a cheesy little local parade today. I went, took pictures, and once she passed me went into the nearby comic store. I had somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour.

After staring at the handful of anime figurines and model kits they had for five minutes, I started flipping through the bargain bin comics. Thereupon I encountered a comic based on Metal Gear Solid. I don't like Metal Gear Solid in the least, but I figured 'What the hell, why not?'

I'm currently sitting on a stack of 7 issues based on the original game, with the first issue and then issues 6-12 (I'm missing one of them in there, I forget which).

I was just curious if anyone else had read these, and if they were any good.

Also of note was three volumes of a Gundam 0079 manga. I picked those up too.
