WTF Worst Deaths

Not so much worst carried out as worst to go through.

I nominate this one.

Meh, in Event Horizon the guy's eyes burst when he went out the airlock, that seems worst.

Anyway, in a film full of novelty deaths, the way Castle takes out Jigsaw in Punisher: War Zone ('round about 4:00) is the only thing that comes to mind (off the top of my head). 2:58 death ain't half bad either.

He didn't actually die though, so yeah you're right, probably worse.

A worse death in Event Horizon though is undoubtedly the dude who got beaten to a pulp, then layed out on a table to get autopsied alive while still conscious. That's a pretty crap way to go.

EDIT; Or any of the original crew, who first went insane and then had a massive hell themed orgy of sex and killing by ripping out eyes/tongues/organs and then knifing each other while being raped.

Plus Lawrence Fishburne probably went to hell, a fate worse than death.

And man, if we're going to hit up videogames, I'm pretty sure Manhunt and Manhunt 2 should be in here. The level 2 scythe execution on Manhunt is pretty horrific.

Oh yeah, that goes without saying of course. Really everyone in that film got pretty fucking screwed in the most awful ways possible.

I also just remembered what happened to Randal Flagg from Stephen Kings books too. I'll spoiler it in case anyone doesn't already know; Basically, he got mind controlled by a giant werespider thing into ripping out his own eyes and feeding them to said giant werespider thing, then got told to rip out his tongue and feed him that too. Unfortunately he couldn't quite grip it properly, so the giant werespider thing instead bit his tongue out, then proceeded to eat/drink him alive, or whatever it is giant werespider things do to mind controlled hapless prey.

Note that this is far worse than the insane crew members of the Event Horizon in that this guy was being forcefully made to do this shit and so was fully conscious of what he was doing, whereas the Event Horizon crew were, well, insane and probably past caring any more.

Oh and while I'm on the subject of Kings works, a short story of his named "The Jaunt" had possibly the most fucked up thing ever; It was about this advanced teleportation system that humanity had used to colonise space, but it only worked if you were asleep, because for some reason even though it only took like half a second to transport the physical body any amount of distance, consciousness took a lot, lot longer. Then some young kid who wants to know just how long it takes decides to keep himself awake when his family take a trip to another planet. When they arrive, the kid has gone insane from basically existing alone in an endless void for billions and billions of years, with absolutely no stimuli to keep his mind active and no way to die. He becomes utterly demonically deranged, frothing at the mouth and screaming and then rips out his eyes.

Somehow that last one is even worse than all those others combined.

Default Warning: Spoilers for the Silent Hill film, NSFW in two different ways

I'll just leave this here.

It might not the worst death of the film, but it's the worst one I didn't erase from my memory.

I was gonna say the barbed-wire/vagina scene was probably the worst, but the one you linked seems about equal to it.

This is a particularly morbid thread, is it not?

Anyways, I think my nomination (The SH barbed wire scene) has already been mentioned. So I'll just take this time to say that I've reversed my take on the Silent Hill movie. Not because it's good, but because it's a spectacle.

I spent a bit of time playing Dead Space... I wouldn't say it had some of the worst deaths, but damn it had some pretty spectacular ways to get mutilated.

So I leave these here for your pleasure... Part 1-Part 2 In case no one has seen them yet. (I'm pretty sure everyone has, but I've been wrong before.)
