both of defeaters albums are good concept albums. if you like the heavy stuff, its great

Avantasia. All of it.
But especially the Scarecrow, everything before and after that sounds more like generic metal to me. Also: Epica and The Black Halo by Kamelot are concept albums loosely based on Goethe's Faust. This is also where I point out that most albums by one of my favorite bands, Opeth, stick to a theme throughout, so yeah. Concept albums. All of the above lean more towards metal than rock, so if you don't like that it's a shame you can't enjoy those albums like I do.
