An Election With a Communist Candidate
It's right here: http://www.dccomics.com/sites/legionelection/
A description of the candidates: http://mightygodking.com/index.php/2...l-the-planets/ Don't you want to vote for the commie? Of course you do, you're Smarty McBarrelpants. EDIT: Also note that Gates' fascist opponent, Earth-Man, appears in two portraits: His own, and Chameleon Girl's (he's holding her by the neck).

It was a tough pick between him and Quislet but in the end I went with glorious revolution.

What is Superman dead or go back in time or something? Wouldn't that make Mon-El leader since he is just Superman of the Future?
Why are they bothering to have elections in the far distant future, anyway, doesn't Brainiac 5 just have an algorithm that determines that he is the objectively best one to lead them?

The only way to get yourself onto such a ballot and with a chance of winning is to prostrate yourself before a venial system that fetishes itself in a continual cycle. He will no longer be able to uphold the revolution as to he has become so intergrated into the system, so tied to those who have helped him out and promoted him, sso tied to moderate semblances of "change" packed as lasting reform that I laugh in his face.
The Mensheviks ahve been confined to the dustbin of history and rightly so. Whoever you vote for it doesn't matter. You are voting for your own slavery. |

Yeah but he has super powers, does that increase his ability to make real economic reforms?

No it would be worse. He is ideologically comprimised and he will use his superpowers to merely pander to his economic masters better.
