Monitor has green static
Dont like tossing up multiple tech support threads in a row, but it is completely unrelated. I'm getting this green fuzz on my screen, most noticeable in videos and games, but here and there I notice it on webpages too. No clue what started it. Hope my monitor isn't going or something.

Mine started doing something similar earlier this year. When I played video games it would randomly freeze and the screen would be covered in lines of lime-green static. Turns out the video card was shot. Got a new one put in and it solved the problem completely.

I'd hope your monitor is going, and it's not your video card. Ideally, it's the cable.
Test it out with a different computer. Then different cable/same computer if you can.

Check your cable connections. If you are using the Blue VGA style cables, you are likely suffering from cable issues, not hardware.

on the video card possibility, I use the one integrated into the motherboard, can only the graphics output become shot? Cause everything else works fine

actually that seems to have fixed it. Just disconnected the cable, hit it with some compressed air for good measure, and its working fine now. I'm so used to catastrophic failure I would have overlooked something so minor
