Serious Samuel L Jackson says... Wake the F*&^ UP!

Link

So this video (bottom of the page) is about one thing. If Mitt Romney gets elected, he's going to hurt everything in regards to students, women, the elderly, and anyone making less than $200,000.

And it has one simple message.

Wake the F&^% up America to what's going on in not only the presidential race, but also around the country with the Republicans.

Quote:
A tidy little vid starring Barack supporter-extraordinaire Samuel L. Jackson has hit the internet, and though a tad longer than the typical 30 second political spot flooding the airwaves in this election season, it is quite a bit more clever and funnier - though it helps if you're a supporter of the incumbent, naturally. And while it is unabashedly supportive of Obama, the prez does not come in and say he "supports this message" like in most other political ads. In this version, Jackson invades a home of a quiet suburban family of lackadaisical Obama '08 supporters to tell them to, "Wake the F**** Up."
So yes, there's a difference in Republicans and Democrats. I don't agree with all Democrats and everything they're doing. But I despise the Republicans and how they've become a party of obstruction.

But if I show I don't think I deserve to be rich by voting for those no-cuts Democrats, then I'll make less than $200 000 forever. The gods of fortune are so easily displeased.

its stuff like this that makes me panic over what choice i'm going to make come november

on the one hand i really don't want to support the dems because, as lewis black is fond of saying, our two party system is a big steamy bowl of shit staring at itself in the mirror. i'm voting not-romney of course, and urging everyone i can who isn't old, racist, or misguidedly following the elephants due to religious values to vote not-romney but then i don't want to divide the vote and make the top contender opposed to romney lose the election

do i show my displeasure with the dems this year and vote third party? or do i wait another four for that and just make sure obama beats the piss out of romney this election?

I've probably a highly simplified perception of this dilemma, but to me it looks like a choice between hunting unicorn for dinner or making oatmeal. Unicorn might taste better than any meal you or I have ever had, and it would be a sweet feather in your cap too, but there's a high possibility you're going to bed hungry. Oatmeal is guaranteed to fill you up, at least until oat is wiped out by the climate shift.

The choice of Paul Ryan for Romney's running-mate basically solidified my vote for Obama.
