The Hobbit Games!
So.
Who's going to be the first to see The Hobbit Games. (Note: this is a parody. This is only a parody. Had this been an actual film, many people would have been sued.) Edit: Both I and my wife are in this one! (Very briefly, and it's unlikely you guys'd notice us, much, though she gets some nice positioning a few times.)

Many people were sued with that new "Age of Hobbits" rip-off. A judge ruled they couldn't call it that so they changed it to Lord of the Elves. Still an attempt to rip it off but not so blatant.
The actual plot is about a tribe of prehistoric pygmies battling komodo-dragon-riding cannibals. |

...?
Is that at all a remotely real thing, or is that just completely made up by you just now? 'Cause... wut?

That is a real movie made by human beings.
Quote:
Hah, apparently it has actual dragons in it. I thought they were trying to be all 10,000-B.C.-ish and stick with things that maybe are actually within the real of possibility (for a certain degree of possibility) and have them riding the komodo dragons (which are still apparently in it). I... I... I... huh. That makes muuuuuuuuuuuch more sense now.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand now I'm caught up, mostly with the words "Asylum". I know of them and their propensity to make bizarre movie parody/knock-offs, but I hadn't heard of this and... ugh. This is just... bizarre. I'm not against Asylum (nor am I particularly for them - I don't actually know their work), but dudes, you usually are better than putting the exact same words in your title. It was bound to happen to them eventually, I suppose (enough lawsuits and one is eventually going to stick). But... "Lord of the Elves"? What, are there, like, 'Elves' in this movie? (Answer: No, they're just... "trolling". (Hah! C wat eye did thar!)) And that preview is... hilarious, by the way. Could be fun, might even be good (or at least 'awesome' in a way), but definitely hilarious, especially given the title and the complete lack of elves anywhere within it. What's more hilarious: Time Warner's general response. Anyway, thanks for the update.
