Language Forum Fine Tuning
Hey, thought this was dead? Think again! Exams are soon, so I've been preparing and the like.
I've been slowly working on the site, and will soon ask for more concrete things from those willing to contribute. Right now, I'm wondering about a forum structure. Right now, I want a good, solid, reliable forum structure. Be it free or pay, I want somethnig that works. Does anyone know good services for this sort of thing? Please, no spamming links of ezboard. Thanks in advance...when summer comes, this thing will really take off!

Well, glad to hear it. I've been throwing some ideas around for basic grammar lessons and suchlike... we shall see.
Say... would we only be dealing with culture-bound, spoken (or once spoken) languages such as English, Spanish, Latin, or also with languages in a wider sense? For example sign language (as mentioned in the Resource thread), or maybe programming languages (though that would probably be better suited in a forum of its own, I think)? Just a thought. And I use way too many brackets. Last edited by Meister; 06-10-2004 at 04:02 PM. |

I think Programming Language wouldn't necessarily be what I'm thinking of here. spoken is perfectly ok, as well as sign language. Programming language isn't necessarily something you "fluently" use, but I see what you mean. We could have a fun little section on that
Still no forum ideas?
