What tipped you off? The "Why do they come to me to die?" comment from Kary, or her four swords?
Aside from that, the LWs are trapped from making a retreat unless they do something about the fire, so I'd say their imminent capture is almost assured. After all, "And how are we supposed to do smart things? Just think them up?" doesn't bestow a great deal of confidence in their using-ideas-to-run-away score.

White Mage is on the scene and as we all know WHite Mage is the smartest of the group. With her expert planning they can't lose.
Also doesn't Bm still have a Hadoken? |

Yes, but Kary is the fiend of FIRE. I wouldn't be surprised if she wouldn't be effected by it.
In fact, I can easily imagine BM tossing one while Fighter and Kary are tangled up, and BOTH survive totally unscathed (Fighter is still wearing Fire Armor). Hmm...first time we've seen BB with nunchucks...and Fighter is still carrying Drizzl's blades ('Stabby' and 'Slashy') along with his Vargus swords.... Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking?

As for why BB is using them in combat, I blame me. Sky Warrior Bob :rmage: Show off!

Bad link. Your 'fan art' doesn't appear.
And BM's Hadoken is out of comission because it hasn't really been a day since he cast it at Gorgu. Also even if he had Hadoken available what's he gonna do? Use it inside the volcano thereby causing it to erupt and damage the fire orb? I don't think so. He may be a violent little guy but he's not a complete idiot. CJN; if you're thinking Fighter whips out a pair of homemade sword-chucks and causes more hilarity to ensue (after BlackBelt has the bejesus sworded out of him by Kary), then I'm thinking what you're thinking. If you were thinking something else I scoff at you. SCOFF!

I highly doubt BM cares about the Fire Orb...or the volcano...or his comrades for that matter. As long as he sees the others get roasted alive first, I think he might just do it.
I'm personally just waiting for Thief to do his backstab...that is, if he really didn't flee. Then again, we did learn that Red Mage can use Ice elemental magic, right? Who knows if he'll put it to use again. He's pretty conservative when it comes to using magic. He didn't even use his Cure spell to heal himself from the Werewolf attack way back when. Maybe Black Mage can use Ice magic. He's used his patented Hadoken (to which I'll assume is Light-based), and variants of said ability (Fighterdoken, Boatdoken, etc.). He's got Bolt-2. He's got Feather Fall. He's used hypno vision on Fighter once. He's definitely shown a mastery of all things that burn, blow up, and/or transfer gallons of acid into the internal organs of targetable innocent victims, like Cornerian Guardsmen. I wonder what he'll have something up his robes this time around? Last edited by Astral Harmony; 10-14-2004 at 01:52 AM. |
