Default The world is becoming ready...

I saw a coming attraction today for a Feature Length Computer Animated Walt Disney Film titled "The Incredibles."

I find it rather interesting, that I hadn't seen or heard anything about the superhero genre (marvel films aside) in a very long time. The fact that Walt Disney, an enforcer of pop culture, is getting into the act proves that the superhero genre is making a major comeback in the eyes of the public.

It is absolutely remarkable, that this return of the genre is timed alongside the release of Nuklear Age. This is extremely beneficial to Brian, because with the right marketing schemes, and proper manipulation, Clevinger will be able to capitalize on the new found public fascination with superheroes.

This bodes well, Brian! Does anyone have any ideas as to how Nuklear Age might find its way out of the cult following that currently exists, and more into the mainstream, joining the "If you like The Incredibles, then you'll love Nuklear Age" mentality. The world is ready for you Brian, you just have to figure out how best to exploit that fact.

I don't think Disney really had any part in the movie. I recall the previews saying that it was "A Disney presentation of a Pixar film" leading me to believe Pixar is only using Disney's name to get a larger audience.

Actually this should be the last, contract-fulfulling film where Pixar is distributed by Disney. Pixar has wanted out for a while, but they contracted for a certain number of films under the Disney banner. After this, you'll most likely see them with another company.

Or on their own. Pixar has done so incredibly well, I can't imagine them NOT stepping out on their own to do as they please.

Thats true, but the disney banner gives pixar a little extra "umph" in the market I think... I hope they do as well, if not better, without disney, but we'll see...
