Final Fantasy Three Sprites
It seems that Brian has been using more Final Fantasy 3 of of the Nintendo wrather than many Final Fantasy 1 sprites...... i mean....there are alot of great monsters and characters in Final Fantasy 1 why must Brian use sprites from a game that the comic isnt making fun of?

because its less about FF1 and more about the story and making fun of rpg's in general

Well......Fine...but he could include like....a different 8-bit-theatre that follows the Final Fantasy 2 or 3 storyline.....that would bring in more fans

Nah. He couldn't. I don't think he's worried about attracting more fans anyways.

FF1 has very little to none in regards charecter development. It basically provides an RP senerio much like a D&D game. Thats why 8-bit theatre works. It isn't messing with already established charecters... its as if we're watching the inside of Brian's brain while he plays FF1, imagining the charecters as he sees them.
FF2 and 3 have established charecters with backround stories that go beyond "you are destined to save teh world from evil. Here's a crystal."

I agree though, the "real" FFIII's monsters looked a lot cooler than the monsters in Final Fantasy Classic. In between FFI and III, the game's developers had plenty of time to improve in their monster-creating skills, and it shows.

But yeah, I meant in the ACTUAL ff lineage (i.e. the japanesse one), 'which number is he using enemy sprites from?' (a question which was answered previously in the thread)
