I'm not out to mock anyone's belief structure here, but someone sent me this and it seemed pretty f-ed up for lack of better words. This is a serious track and not a joke. Of course, we all know this could never happen because Hot poorly drawn chicks don't sit around playing D&D.

Those with bad Hearts and love for Gaming should not Click

Anyone as messed up in the head as these kids shouldn't be doing anything. I mean anything! Not eating, Drinking, Sleeping, Talking or owning pets. Maybe in the 80's everyone who Gamed was a Madman out to commit suicide because of a storybook character, but nowadays most of us are just overweight fanboys who would rather spend our hard-earned money on books and pewter figures then Dates that lead to casual, meaningless Sex like most of society. What do you think?

Chick is an idiot, that's all I can say. I've seen his other tracts, and they're all as full of crap as he is.

What scares me isn't that he *thinks* they're effective, but that there are people out there wh might actually buy into it.

I for one agree with Chick. That Dark Dungeons game is clearly a tool of satan, anything that lets the DM declare your character dead with no saving throw must not be of God. Oh well, that's 1st edition for you.

I had a friend who's parents were actually convinced of the "evils" of gaming by that particular tract. I recommend the wonderful articles referenced here as good defenses against such idiocy. It's also a good index of such attacks on our lifestyle. Some of them are readable online . . . I recommend articles by Michael Stackpole.

*AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA* my god, that was the funniest thing i've ever seen! I'm going to take it to kinko's and have a poster made, seriously. i love those "if your child uses his imagination, it is the work of the devil!" the only scary part is people think its true (ie what happened to the harry potter books in the South). i dont play any table top, but seeing how people react i want to move to Salt Lake and set up a D&D group. we'll meet in parks where small children play. anybody with me?
