Funniest Movies of All Time.

What would you say are the funniest movies of all time?

how about attaching your favorite quote?

My absolute favorite is Robin Hood: Men in Tights. this was a most excellent spoof made by Mel Brooks.

*Blinkin the Blind Guy falls out of tree, begins to brush himself off*
Blinkin: "I can see!"
*Smashes face first into a tree*
Blinkin: "Nope. I was wrong."

Other comedy greats include:
Space Balls
Hot Shots
Hot Shots Part Deux
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.

"Dude, this is a totaly deep hole!"

Dodgeball- At the very end when Ben Stiller 'presents' his 'milkshakes'. "What? Fatty make a funny?"

You forgot Monty Python and the Meaning of Life. Can't remember any quotes, but I do remember when a guy's deathwish was to be chased through as city and off a cliff by naked chicks.

If I've seen better, I forgot about it... for me it's a tie between Monty Python and the Holy Grail and the Meaning of Life.

Altough I thought Holy Grail had more funnies, Meaning of Life is my all time favourite.

"Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony."

Monty Python and the Holy Grail or Caddyshack. I don't really care which. I don't watch too many comedies, so pay no attention to my opinion.

No, those are two funny movies Xivilized (Bill Murray was hilarious, and the candy bar in the pool was just awesome).

Well...there's Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Austin Powers, Super Troopers, Scary Movie 1 + 3, Airplane 1 + 2, Kentucky Fried Movie, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles and more when I remember them.

The Rutles, because I might as well the obscure ones into it right from the start... it's a documentary about the most famous 60's Beat band ever. The Rutles. Using original footage and information given by a narrator, the movie sheds light on the story of Stig O'Hara, Ron Nasty, Barry Wom and Dirk McQuickly, from their days in Hamburg to their later releases like A Hard Day's Rut, and also their movies Ouch and Tragical Hystery Tour.

You got it. It's all an insanely hilarious Beatles parody, done by none other than Eric Idle. Imagine an actual Beatles documentary mixed with Monty Python style humour, and you about have it.

Quotes:

Narrator: Stig, meanwhile, had hidden in the background so much that in 1969, a rumor went around that he was dead. He was supposed to have been killed in a flash fire at a waterbed shop and replaced by a plastic and wax replica from Madame Tusseaud's. Several so-called "facts" helped the emergence of this rumor.
One: he never said anything publicly. Even as the "quiet one," he'd not said a word since 1966.
Two: on the cover of their latest album, "Shabby Road," he is wearing no trousers, an Italian way of indicating death.
Three: Nasty supposedly sings "I buried Stig" on "I Am The Waitress." In fact, he sings, "E burres stigano," which is very bad Spanish for "Have you a water buffalo?"
Four: On the cover of the "Sergeant Rutter" album, Stig is leaning in the exact position of a dying Yeti, from the Rutland Book of the Dead.
Five: If you sing the title of "Sergeant Rutter's Only Darts Club Band" backwards, it's supposed to sound very like "Stig has been dead for ages, honestly." In fact, it sounds uncannily like "Dnab Bulc Strad Ylno S'rettur Tnaegres." Palpable nonsense.

Narrator: And you turned down the Rutles.
Brian Thigh (beat): Yeah, yeah.
Narrator: What's it like being an asshole?

It also has Mick Jagger in it, among others. Really good movie. In fact, I think I'm gonna nick the TV and dig up the tape now...
