8 Bit Survivor
To avoid looking like some random foreign user coming to a community just to advertise something without caring about where they post, making this post look no better than spam, let me introduce myself.
I am the great Bubbleman. You should remember me from Megaman 2, as the powerful aquatic robot who commands a legion of water theme robots, such as metal crabs, and robo-frogs that shoot out smaller robo-frogs. I also wield the power of the mighty lead bubble, making me the true ultimate fighting machine. Now the reason I came to your forum is because I made a comic that relates to 8-bit theatre, thus hopefully some of this comic's fans will enjoy it. Am I also using this comic as an excuse to shamelessly promote my comic? Maybe. Partly. Mostly. However, I would be quite satisfied if you found enjoyment in this comic alone, and never read any of my other comics. The link to the comic is here: http://bubbleman.monsquad.com |

[Edit]and now that I've had the chance to read your comic, I'll state that it's on par with Captain SNES, except your comic has better grammar. And now, I am never going to poke my face in this thread ever, ever again.[/Edit] Last edited by Otaku Son; 05-17-2004 at 01:48 AM. |

There's too many rules. You don't come to the Internet to be ruled, you come for the chaos and porn!

lol, also no double posting. ^^ But welcomes! And this thread can be split into A) the comic part (to the comic forum) and B) the intro (to the introduction thread in general)

Hello and welcome to the 8bit theater forums.
Firstly, promoting your comic here in 8bit isn't against the rules, though if you can keep it to this one thread, that would be dandy. Secondly, yes - this thread would have been better off in the comics forum, so I'll be moving it there now. =3 Thirdly, the introduction thread is in the general forum where you can post a little about yourself along with other users. Finally, double posting and short line posts such as 'arrrruuuuggghhhhh!' aren't looked kindly upon. And with all of that said, I hope you get a better idea of how these forums work and continue to post even though my random babble has probably scared you off for life.=3

A big negative on scaring me off. I've seen much worst things said and done on the Internet; you haven't even thrown a tubgirl, lemon party, or goatsex at me.
"ARRRUGGGGGGHHHHH!" wasn't really a double post, since, really, the definition of a double post is posting information already said or a posting something completely pointless. "Arugh!" wasn't pointless, since, though short, still expressed my anguished not clearly expressed in my previous posts. |

It still stands. It was a one word post. =3 Don't argue me, I'll pelt you with pie.
And in the old 8bit forums you would have been subjected to those sites, but thankfully we do our best here to keep it clean.

Much applauded then to make me not afraid to click on random links here.
But I still disagree with you, and not a pie to the face can change that. But don't worry, I'm sure the majority of the board sides with you, making me overall look like the rebellous idiot. |
