There was some movement from the holes. "Those are to big for arrows. more like big rocks." (ooc: it's not big rocks)

"My samurai intuition tells me that whatever's coming up, it won't be pretty." He strapped his helmet on tightly, and took a deep drink from his Sake jug.

"I have the feeling I'm going to get blinding drunk after this mission."

Khakoi looked up at the holes in the ceiling, "Whatever is coming, we can take it. Just be ready." She said, tightening her grip on her sword.

As if to answer her Several Scorpions the sizr of horses dropped from the holes in the ceiling they took aggressive postures. "Don't worry bout the claws." Drae'san said. "It's the tail you have to watch."

Zato thrust Longi , neatly skewering one in the head. He barely managed to dodge the stinger before pulling Longi out and severing the flailing appendage.

Drae'san fought. His style was very controlled and straight forward. More functional than elegant. He purposely allowed one to grab his leg so he could slice off the tail. He then bisected the offending claw before introducing the tip of Leo to the scorpions brain.
