MS 150 Bike Ride help needed
Before I get to the point of my post I just want to take one more chance to thank Brian (who’s probably getting a little tired of it by now) for helping me out, so thanks Brian you rock!
Alright on to the point! On September 10&11 myself and a small group of family and friends will be doing the MS 150 Bike Ride in Columbia, Missouri which is part of the Bike Tour that goes all over the country. It is a 2 day 75 mile/day ride to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis and this will be my 3rd year participating. We are all doing this to support that cause as well as show our support for my mother who was diagnosed with MS about 7 years ago. Luckily she has a less debilitating form of the disease and is able to lead a relatively normal life. What I’m asking from you guys is a donation to help us out. They’ve raised the minimum per rider donation to $250 and we didn’t even get enough last year when it was $200. This year we really want to show what we can raise. You will have to register to donate but it doesn’t take very long and it’s just so they can acknowledge those who do donate. If you do want to donate below is the info you’ll need and what to do: Our team name is Team Y107 (there’s a small chance this could change) Our team members are: Eric Clark (Me) Adam Lefler (Team captain) Jeff Clark (My brother) Tim Aholt Wes Henderson Jarrod Schwartz Leamon Crafton Derek Ebert Mark Clark (My cousin) National Multiple Sclerosis Society http://www.nationalmssociety.org/ You can go here and donate just look at the bottom of the homepage for the small link that says pledge/sponsor a participant and on the next page enter the name of the person you’d like to pledge to. You can check the website I built for us at http://www.freewebs.com/ms150mo/ I’ve setup direct links to pledge for any rider, just click on their name and you’ll go right there. Any questions or comments you can send me a PM or email or email ms150team@gmail.com. Okay I’m going to go ahead and end this huge post now thanks for taking a minute to read it and if you decide to donate thanks a lot!

MS 150 Bike Ride
I currently live in the Columbia, MO area. Unfotunately, I will be out of town on the 11th. Will stop by on the 10th though if I can find any means of transportation and affording gas.

That's cool even just a show of support is great. There's a small pic of me in my profile stop by and say hi if you see me, also one of the other team members is Copper on Y107 up there so if you see him I'll be close by.
Also I wanted to say a quick thank you to those who donated because of Brian's post in the news. I'm still shy of my portion but I'm alot closer than I was. Hopefully I'll get a few more donations but right now I'm just trying to concentrate on preparing mentally for the ride and hoping it doesn't rain and isn't a million frickin degrees the way it has been lately with the exception of this week.

Im sorry I missed this, though im pretty far away from the ride. I was on vacation. My mother has MS as well, though shes got the fastest acting most debilitation version. She has had it severe for about 10 yrs. They gave her 2 yrs to live, but she has been doing as good as can be expected. Lately they have put her on Chemo (she had it before, but its about once a week now) as a last ditch attempt though.
Can you still receive donations? |

Yeah there's definatly still time to donate. I glad to here to your mother has fought and is still fighting. I know how tough Chemo can be on someone my grandmother went through it as well. I guess all I can say is strong and thanks for helping me out.

I went ahead and donated some money, I couldnt donate too much, I just got laid off from HP, but I know every bit helps. She does, she tries not to lose heart, but she gets discouraged sometimes. We try to keep her in good spirits though. Thanks, and thank you for helping raise money for MS.
