Trapped In A Video Game RP Chapter 2: Star Wars Battlefront

OOC: ive been thinking about this video game for a while now and hope it goes as good as i thought it would. also, PLEASE read the two posts i made in the discussion thread to understand what is going on. also, concerning what the units' missions are, you can just skip reading the stuff that doesnt concern your character.

Hello again! i hope you arent too injured from the orc attacks to join this next exciting scenario. you are now located inside of the game, Star Wars: Battlefront. some of you will find fresh new changes to your body. dont worry, they will only stay for this video game. anyways, this is just another basic mission just like in battlefront. not included in the map you should have seen, are bunkers. these are nifty places where the snow was dug up so that, if you were to go into one of these bunkers, you would be below the average ground level. there are 10 of these bunkers scattered across the level. there are 4 small bunkers on the left and right sides of the map. on the left and right side of the huge middle neutral base, there are also two small bunkers. bunkers can be really quite handy for snipers needing to take cover.

also, keep in mind that you and your gamer friends arent the only ones in this. there are tons and tons of different units that can hopefully help you out, so that you dont get killed and hopefully beat the dark side.

as for things to do while on this map, i will start with Heavy Weapons Specialists. HWS can report on the battlefield and help destroy the various enemy vehicles. though, HWS weapons dont stand a chance against AT-AT, so dont even try to get rid of them. thats the pilot's job. also, AT-ST can be destroyed, but they take maybe 10 rockets to destroy. besides destroying the battlefield vehicles, you can help take control of the bases, as well.

Pilots can go into the vehicle's room and take an X-Wing or a Speederbike or one of the other vehicles inside of the vehicle room and then kill the enemy vehicles. though, the pilot's main job while in a SnowSpeeder is to get rid of the AT-AT. these AT-ATs are critical to the enemy's success and must be destroyed. this can be accomplished by using the vehicle's two cable and wrapping it around the AT-AT's legs three times. keep in mind that you would have to watch out for AT-AT fire and that tripping the AT-AT is VERY hard to do. it will take a while to finally accomplish. besides that, you can always help out trying to take control of a base. though, keep in mind that pilots are very weak against enemy infantry gunfire.

Soldiers, Wookies, and Jet Troopers all have the same main job. they all have to make sure they kill ground units and take control of bases. they all are the best units at this kind of stuff.

Snipers can use the various bunkers to kill incoming units. they also have to try and take control of bases.

OOC: also, i will say when a base is taken by us. i dont want to have people make a post where they are so uber that they take control of 5 bases in one post..

Out of the corner of her eye, Cat noticed a second troll charging her, and she turned to face it. As she turned however, everything seemed to melt away before her eyes, and it was suddenly very cold. Looking around, all she could see was snow. Snow and some beat-up looking buildings scattered here and there. She felt sort of...different, too. Looking down at herself, she noticed her armor was gone.

There was long brown hair in its place.

"Holy shit!" she yelled to no one in particular. Her whole body was covered with long, thick brown fur. Instead of her daggers, she was holding something that looked a lot like a crossbow. Besides the fur, there was another odd feeling plaguing her. It took her a few moments to pin it down, since it was not a sensation she was used to.

She was really tall.

A sinking feeling materialized in her stomach and she cursed again. She really sucked at this game.

Rose was still zoning in and out while she followed Allen when everything changed. She didn't notice at first except for the drastic temperature change. She looked up and then down, blinking. Her clothes, yet again had changed, and so did her weapon. She bit her lip, half hearing what the voice had stated.

She knew what game they were in this time, and she was not pleased. Rose was forced so many times to play it, each time losing horribly. 'Of all things, I had to be a sniper...' She thought to herself as she looked around the cold, white field. She always died quick with the sniper when playing with her much hated cousin.

One thing she was happy for though was the field. She knew the layout of the field perfectly, being that Hoth was the only field her demented cousin would play. 'Thanks Cor...The next time I see you I promise not to kick you in any place that will permanently scar you...' She said to herself as she quickly made her way to the nearest bunker, which was to her left a few feet away.

Adam thrust his spear foward again, aiming for an Orc, but his spear and the orcs all dematerialized....an ice wonderland replacing it. Instead of his metal knight's armor, he wore heavy armor, a jetpack, and had a pistol and a rocket launcher that he assumed from the picture on the side fired two rockets before reloading. He recognized the battle ground from the Star Wars movie. "Of all places!" Adam muttered to himself, not much caring for futuristic games, except for Starcraft. Adam scanned the area, and saw a Droidka speeding forward, looking to run someone over. "I don't think so." Adam shouldered his rocket launcher, knelt down, and fired, a light blue flame following the rocket until it slammed into the hull of the Droidka, taking it down because it didn't have it's shielding up. "Now then, to take that base..."

Allen stops running as he realizes he's no longer running across a walltop but trudging through snow. He grunts, lifting his head towards where the voice had seemed to come from, then looks down at the blaster in his right hand and the sticky grenade in his left. I'm a freakin' infantry? That's it, I'm dead. Allen turns to see a large group of enemy vehicles and soldiers moving towards him. As he moves to find himself some cover a pair of imperial mounted speederbikes come lasers blazing straight at him. He throws himself face-down in the s now and opens fire with the blaster, knowing even as he does so that his chances of success are extremely low.

Luckily only one of the bikes breaks off for another pass, the other continues towards the rest of the troops. What the hell am I doing out here? This is no-mans-land! Mother ^%&*#(@ dis-embodied voice putting me out in the middle of the frickin battlefield. With that thought fresh in his mind he throws his grenade at the bike that's once again headed straight for him with lazer fire streaming from it's cannon. By pure luck the grenade hits the trooper in the head. Unfortunately it fails to stick and serves only to daze the rider. Allen curses fluently as he rises from his position to take advantage of the situation, blaster fire still flying everywhere. He leaps onto the back of the bike as it speeds past. He gets a choke hold on the pilot and heaves him off the bike. The pair of soldiers land in the snow with a resounding thump, the imperial on the bottom taking the brunt of the impact. Allen throws himself backwards from the trooper meanwhile filling him full of blaster fire.

Allen grabs the pistol clipped to the bike trooper's belt and looks aroudn for some kind of cover and spots a nearby bunker. As he looks back towards the imperial lines he notices that they have grown considerably closer. The AT-AT in the lead had him particularly worried, no way in hell he could take that on. What the hell do I do now? I could run for it but I don't think i could make it. Guess I should just take cover in that bunker and pray for salvation. I wonder if the dis-embodied voice has god-like powers in this world? Maybe he'll help me out? Allen dives into the bunker and begins praying fervently to the dis-embodied voice to help him not get blasted to itty bityy pieces.

Still a little shocked at her makeover, Cat was starting to realize that if she didn't move, she was going to end up dead. Her job was to take the bases, and the faster she did that, the faster she would be, well, her again. A sudden movement out of the corner of her eye jerked her out of her stupor, and she raised the bowcaster. It was some guy, running towards the base, and she was pretty sure it was someone on her side. In fact, he looked sorta familiar. Running towards the base, she was pleased to see her new body moved almost as fast as her old one, despite the extra bulk. As soon as she reached the base, she was greeted by a dark suited soldier. She was pretty sure he wasn't friendly, since he greeted her with a blast that she barely dodged, it even singed some of her fur. Her memory of this game was fuzzy, but she was pretty sure the guy was a Dark Trooper. Taking a deep breath, she ducked out of her hiding place, bowcaster held out. She squeezed the trigger as hard as she could with her eyes clenched tight before ducking back behind the wall. Peeking around the doorway again, she could see the trooper lying on the ground, several bolts protruding from vital areas of his body. There were also bolts protruding from the floor, ceiling, and surrounding walls. 'At least I don't have to aim real well with this thing', she thought to herself as she crept into the base. The guy she saw earlier was ahead of her, he must have just missed being impaled by a bolt. She could see now that it was Adam, and he was still human. Relieved to see a friendly face, she hurried up to him. "Adam, wait up!"

Adam stopped his trudging, and turned around for a second, seeing a hairy, hair wookie. Laughing heartily, Adam spoke "So you're a wookie now. Amusing." Cat caught up to Adam and began walking beside him as Adam fired his pistol at a Dark trooper, aiming for the skull. The first two bullets dented the helmet, the third punched through the plating and landed in the trooper's skull. Brain matter flying out of the helmet and plopping on the cold snow.

He was adapting well to the situation.
