I probably can't give you details, but he's a famous NPF hate for being, as far as I see, bigoted, stupid, immovable, possibly a fanboy, and not knowing when to quit. Probably like me. I know there have been a few threads discussing banned people, and one of these is guarenteed to lead to "Otaku Son's Last Stand." In other words, use the search engine and look up things about banned people.

A quick waltz through the first parts of this thread will also shed a light on the subject...whilst we wait for krylo.

Really though, does he deserve this kind of ongoing attention? Ultimately he was just a run-of-the-mill awkward nerd with run-of-the-mill awkward nerd socially disastrous behavior/beliefs. Anyone who has to deal with the nerdy public in any way meets plenty like him or worse on a regular basis, and none of them really deserve being made into living legends anywhere outside of their terrible self-insertion fanfiction or whatever.
As someone who was briefly the focus of some of his creepier awkward nerdery I'd kind of like the joke to be done with soon.

And there is also a cognition issue in regards to the meaning behind the phrase that the simple "banned" does not have.

Societies do this. They aggrandize and romanticize events of minor importance. Chiefs become kings become legends in retellings. Skirmishes against other tribes become wars against nations become epic struggles against gods.
It is not surprising that it happens on a micro level, as well. Shared pasts and shared stories solidify bonds between people. Shared pasts lead to inside jokes and tales, which strengthen the 'otherness' of the community, and reinforce the connections between members of it. It is ironic that Otaku Son became but another force of social bonding, when his life is relatively empty of it. |

The rumor was that Otaku Son was actually Tony Blaire.
As I understand it, everytime the mods catch wind of someone using an IP similar to Otaku's (Tony's) they immediately start investigating the user. If sufficient evidence is obtained that clearly determines that a user may be Tony, or someone working for him they either ban them or give them a warning. Really, Otaku Son isn't so much hated as a person as he is hated as a symbol. For the Americans on the forum he represented everything that they struggled against the British for (such as 'No Taxation without Representation'). For the Canadians on the forum he represented England selling Alaska to America because they were a bunch of pussies who were afraid of American retaliation/wanted to kiss and make up. For everyone else on the board he represented lousy dental care. That's what 'Doing it Otaku Son Style' means.
