NPF Avatars: Take three!

Here comes around another bout of the fan favorite NPF Avatars.

This time the RP will be moderated by myself and Raiden.

There's a place that we all know quite well. The grand city of Nuklear Power Forums. Now, this city is not normal. In fact, it is as unique as the varied residents that live within it. It is one of the greatest and most powerful civilization in the known world, exceeding even the greatest of its rivals. A place this unique is not run on coal or sweat, but on Kurosen, the supreme energy source. For a time, all was good, or as good as things could get in a place filled with crazy people like that, but that has changed. Out of no where, and with no clues as to why or how, Kurosen has disappeared, the energy running this vast and grand city cut off. With this lack of power, the NPF has descended into chaos. Or, more chaos then normal.

Equipment: What does your character have? Does he have more weapons in his backpack then the entire chinese army? None at all? One or two? List them all here.
Special Abilities: Anything you can think of, please try not go overboard, two or three abilities is a good guidline.



My character.

Name: Incendius
Appearance: Incendius is a very strange looking fellow, for no one actually knows what he looks like, thus they deem him most likely strange looking. At all times a set of thin silk black robes cover his entire body with a hood, and a blank white mask with no holes covering his face.
Equipment: N/A (Not known, since well he only arrived a day or so ago)
Special Abilities: (See above)

Upons Raiden's suggestion we will be using the old rank system for the baddies in the RP.

The Grunts: come in massive, near-mindless mobs, and are basically easy to kill off. A single person could hold off 20-25 with no problem, however once you start building a wall out of their corpses, it gets a bit tiring. They just keep coming!

The Sane: stronger than grunts, so that 15-20 would pose a problem with an individual. They are smarter, and travel in large packs, preferring to pick off the loners of the group. Needs a bit of teamwork to get rid of these guys, but their numbers aren’t exhausting either.

The Logical: medium-levelled mobsters. 5-10 of these will be problematic against 1. They are also smarter, and travel in packs of 12 (means that if one of you encounter a pack, it’s gonna be hellishly hard to come out of it without being moderately injured)

The Crazies: strong bully mobsters. 1 is enough of a challenge, 2 will induce injuries, and 3-4 will overwhelm a strong individual, and they come in groups of 8, but also hunt solo.

Beyond Insane: 1 vs 1, a strong individual will lose. They have insane stamina, life, and powers, and will come at you as if there is no tomorrow. They come in 2s and 3s.

Minor-bosses: Sub-boss levelled monsters. They are hellishly hard to kill, and can pin 2-3 heroes down quickly. Guns are almost like pellets to them, and they come in 2s and 3s. Teamwork is required to prevent an ass-whipping.

Boss: your average ass-kicking monster. One is a challenge to any large group of adventurers. Even the Gods will have trouble if they face these guys on their own. Teamwork is definitely required to bring these creatures down.

Name: DarkCorn

Appearance: A tall man, about 5'9 who wears black corderoys, a brown shirt with a piece of corn that looks like my avatar on it, and black shoes. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and tan skin. He is a little muscular and on the skinny side.

Equipment: A piece of corn that can sprout any bladed weapon off of it. It can also turn into a plasma rifle (like the carbine from halo 2) or a shield. Also, the hammer of beating. A large, titanium sledgehammer that increases in size when I get pissed. It also increases in weight, but I can always lift it. (the size of the head changes in relation to length [yeah, shut up]regular size- 5 feet, kinda mad- 10 feet kinda pissed- 20 feet pissed - 40 feet real pissed- 50 feet flipped his lid- 100 feet

Special Abilities: the power to make large (or small if he wants to) amounts of corn grow anywhere in an instant. Also- limited teleportation. Max- 10 meters. Can go through solid objects, but not through any kind of purple carpet.
flamethrower- he can shoot fire from any part of his body. any amount of fire, any time.
Blue corn grenades- he can shoot small, blue pieces of corn that explode with the force of a small nuke. Only twice a day.
Super (duper) strength- he can lift up to 20 tons without getting hurt
summon lightining- summons a lightining bolt to smite people
hammer of god- summons a hammer the size of the empire state building to smite his enemies (or friends, depending on mood)

Alright Corn, a few questions.

One: You can make corn grow ANYWHERE.

Now by this I hope you mean on some kind of terrain. Not on things like say characters and enemies. Example.

"Is that a dragon of imminent destruction facing me! Well, I guess I'll just go and make corn grow in his lungs and throat and he can't breathe!" *Does just that* "I win! WOOHOO!"

Yeah, see the problem there? Please revise it a bit.

Two: Teleporting 100 meters? I understand the comical value of the purple carpet, but still, I don't think Cyto/Raiden needs to implement a "Put purple carpet here so he can't just get through with ease.

100 meters is a lot to travel in an instance and you don't seem to have put any draining limitations on it. It is a very high powered skill that can be abused VERY easily.

Three: Lightning from anywhere? Abusable to say the least.

Four: Super duper strength? You are corn based. Super strength is a little......Not in character?

Five: Size of the empire state building? The hell?

I am not the GM, but the way your character comes off seems very, irk inducing.

And PLEASE don't resort this to a "Well, his character can...." conversation. Not to pick you out specifically, but it has happened before and we don't need this.

oops. typo. that was supposed to be 10 meters. There, fixed. And yes, that means corn on any place on the ground. Also, I've only posted, like, twice.

[Raiden]

I was about to say, you have six special skills, none of which are related in any way. Flamethrower, AND electricity, AND teleporting, AND growing corn, AND super strength, AND purple corn grenades?

Limit time.

1) Cut the strength.

2) Cut the lightning bolt

3) Limit your flamethrower. No unlimited use, especially since it seems to come out of nowhere.

4) Corn grows only on non-living places. I.E. No making it grown on or in any living creature.

5) Teleporting cut to a maximum of 10 meters, and can only be used three times in a row. After three teleports in a row, no more teleporting for a bit.

6) No hammer. If you have a piece of corn that turns into any weapon, then you should have enough.


McSpiffy, you have quite a few weapons. Yeah...how the hell are you carrying all of them? Either limit the number of weapons, or change your profile to state that your character is quite slow due to the massive weight he's carrying.

[EDIT]: I missed the Purple Corn grenades. No way in hell do you have a small nuke. They can be like normal grenades, only purple and made of corn.

ok. all that cut. regular grenades. limited flamethrower to a steady stream utelisable for up to 30 seconds at a time. teleport limited.

I have a bottomless pocket, a box of infintite donuts, and thermos of endless root beer , an insanely powerful bat (all previously mentioned in pocket.), a rat tied to a stick (carried), and a shotgun (on back-strap holster thing). But alright, I'll drop the bat.

[Raiden]

Name: Raiden (Japanese Thunder God, bitches!)
Appearance: Stands 6'2" with long white hair and glowing electric eyes. Well muscular, and doesn't wear a shirt. Even though it will be freezing in the North Pole, he doesn't feel the cold, even with the lack of clothing. A large sword is strapped to his back.
Weapons/Items:
-Dramacus Blade: A large sword made of the rare metal Dramacus. Through five straight days of careful electric whittling, Raiden managed to sharpen its blade to the microscopic level, making it incredibly sharp. Because of the denseness of the metal, it would take incredible amount of pressure to break it.
-Raiju: A Japanese demon whose name means "thunder animal". It is a demon of lightning in the shape of a cat, badger or weasel. During thunderstorms it becomes extremely agitated and leaps from tree to tree. If a tree shows the marks of lightning, people say that Raiju's claws have scratched it open. It stays with Raiden, usually walking beside him in it's large cat form, or resting on his shoulder in it's weasel form. (NEW)
Special Abilities:
-Strength: He's an f'ing Thunder God. The perk of being a god is abnormal strength. Go look it up.
-Complete Electric Manipulation: Being the God of Thunder and Lightning means that he can easily create and manipulate electricity with a thought.
-Immortal: Again, Thunder God. You can't really kill a god. The only thing that comes close would be Krylo's withering blade, but even then his essence would simply end up in the God's Pantheon. He'd get a new physical vessel within the week, then be back out doing his thing.
-Rune: Using the ancient texts and symbols of magic, Raiden is able to perform what Mortals call 'miracles'.

[Mesden]

This will be known by all chat regulars.

Name: Mesia Denostaya. Prefers the shortening of Mesden.

Apperance: In physical form she looks like my avatar. In ethereal form she is a soft white glow in a humanoid shape.

What she is: A goddess of all things Ethereal and Spiritual

Inventory: When in her physical form she carries a long sword that she seldom uses for any real physical attack.

Also to note there is a very protective dragon that curls around her all the time unless ordered to fight.

Powers:

Godliness: Yeah, immortality to a point. The same as Raiden. And instead of the pure electricity she can turn into an ethereal being. (Not instantly, but with some warning she is able to do it) and the god gems. Those nifty little trinkets.

Spirit control: Complete power over spirits. Most creatures have some sort of pain tolerance, but what about their souls? Could be a problem.....

Rune: She knows some of the language of creation like Raiden, but to a lesser degree as he is the older of the two. (DAMN BIG BROTHER!)

Bio for those that want it: A very unknown god, only a few gods actually know of her. And those that she has given her thoughts and guidance to. Her few encounters with other gods include the only one she considers a friend, Raiden and Pyros/Asheth. She barely steps into any conflicts and has little patience for ignorance. Only recently has she revealed her existence to the view of others in the form of a young woman. She knows the difference of right and wrong and has only changed her apathetic opinion of it due to her talks with Raiden. She has studied Earth and its inhabitants for awhile and has grown curious of humans. Their souls are complex and harder to affect. Some have willpower enough to stand against her power in small ways. This willpower of theirs has earned her respect, but only for humans that she knows has that force of will. Gods have a will all to their own that makes it hard for her to affect. She still has the power to do it though.

[The Wizard Who Did It]

And I'm back. Hope this is a good RP, peoples.

-Name: The Wizard Who Did It (Twiddy)
-Appearance: Twiddy is Caucasian, standing at about 6 feet. He is compact, with a weight of 170 pounds. His eyes are a deep blue, with light brown hair. He dons a brown cloak which covers all but his head. Underneath he wears plain white clothes, with a simple black katana scabbard. One of his defining features is his large angelic wings, which make him look somewhat like an angel.
-Weapons/Items: Katana with alchemic upgrades, and Charon.
-Special Abilities:
----Magic Strength: Very high magical ability (Doomsday spell: Nova)
----Magic Resistance: Very high magical resistance
----Fast: <----See name.
----Sword Skill: Almost no ability with the sword, mainly uses it for blocking.
-Disadvantages:
----Physical Damage: Takes hits like a school-girl. Except worse.
----Schizophrenia: The Wizard has two other souls in his body that have led him to be diagnosed by the mortals with Schizophrenia. At any time where his mind is unconnected to his body (whether by magic or a coma like instance), either of the other two souls can take over his body. These souls are only slightly different from the ‘real’ Twiddy. The changes are…

-Dark Twiddy (The Jerk)
--Appearance: Wears a black cloak instead of a brown one.
--Special Abilities:
--Equipment: Uses a Tomahawk of pure Order as apposed to a katana.
----Magical Strength: His magical power is more tipped toward black magic than white magic.

-Light Twiddy (The Saint)
--Appearance: Wears a white cloak instead of a brown one.
--Equipment: Uses a Spear made of pure Chaos as apposed to a katana.
--Special Abilities:
----Magical Strength: Mostly does white magic, rarely will do black magic.

Note that Twiddy may relinquish control to the other souls, but this is probably not going to happen. There is no guarantee that… nah, I’m not going to lie to you, either of them taking control is most likely bad.

-Name: Charon
-Appearance: Well, he is a dog. A puppy one might say. So... he is short. Very short, as in two thirds up to your knee. And white. The most adorable pearly white you will probably ever see. As in, "Unicorns are ugly" white. His hair is kind of soft and sleek, and he has a long snout, ending an adorable white nose. His eyes are brown, and when he begs, you listen. His tail is about a third his size, and he has the cutest paws ever. His pads are ebony black, and soft to the touch.
-Equipment: He's a puppy. He has claws which he whaps you with, a tail that he whaps you with, teeth that you know are razors, and his awesome tackling ability.
-Special Abilities:
----Nose: Smells a lot of things. Yeah...
----Ears: He's a dog, alright? You should already get all of this.
----Demon: This is the best description I have for it. Whenever he is disturbed, he turns into a demonic type dog, as in grows in size, power, etc. A very fearsome foe after his transformation. He also grows four heads.
