Ten bucks I get banned for this.

I'll take that bet

Shit now they're going to do it just so I'm out 10 bucks

Anyways you your idea is that you want two people to duke it out...you only want 2 people to be allowed in here...why not just make your own fourm for the 2 of them?

Some of us might also have opinions...

And if you want to see 2 people fight about shit then I suggest you watch PTI on ESPN because that's basically what you suggested...

"Not being cool with the mods" doesn't keep you from joining the Super Secret Awesome Club You Not Allowed In, but "reacting snippily to someone simply misunderstanding you" certainly does, on account of that showing insufficient maturity. Or would, if we'd create such a subforum, but you may have gathered from my choice of name why that might not be a good idea. We've got this whole equality thing going on (well, we're trying), and one super special forum is enough.

Oh, the fun discussion we mods and admins have in there! The mirth! The cybering! (Hi fifth <3)

Seriously though, even if we'd do it, on what basis would we decide who gets in? (Money transfers do come to mind, but let's shove that nasty thought aside.) Everyone has their own pet peeves about some topic and is too immature for such a forum in some way, no matter how mature they are in all other topics.

WB, this topic might have been better posted over here.

I like death by stabbing's idea. In your own forum, you could make your own rules and debate about "taboo" topics to your heart's content.

Good luck!

I mean, look, I see where you're coming from. I've had that exact idea myself, but I quickly found my counterarguments, too. :p You can of course always invite people you want to discuss taboo issues with to a private chatroom or similar.

So, um, in light of this overall good-idea-gone-bad, closure?

I mean I like open-handed conversations, but this just screams like it's going to end badly.

Just so you all know, after a good nights sleep, this is just god-damn hilarious. I posted a thread about making a section for the mature members to post in... and it gets shouted down by the immature ones. That's classic. That's, like Monty Python classic.

Ah well, at least I can have intelligent conversations at will over at TWOP.

I find it ironic that you just called one of the Mods one of the more immature ones.

Besides, we don't like the idea that "Seinor" Members being surperior over "Junior" members or "Newbies."
