Buyin' an Effin' Wii.
Okay, so, Metroid Prime 3 officially solidified it. I need to get a Wii. Problem is, I don't know where to look.
Amazon's charging three-hundred and fifty dollars for a single bundle. Fuck that. I refuse to buy from Wal-Mart, and there's nobody else around without driving for an hour. So where's a good 'net shop to find a Wii at for the original cost? Or is there even a way to get a wii for 250$ right now?

Why not just drive 1 hour and 1 minute to your nearest Woolworths then?:p

Honestly, If you can FIND one for 350, thats a decent deal. What bundle is it? Just the standard? Because out of the about 10-15 stores I looked at (For you!) they were all sold out.
Lucky I got mine.

I'd suggest calling ahead to stores and seeing if they have any in stock. If, by some fluke, they do, then beg them to put it aside until you can pick it up. If not, try to pre-order one.
Three hundred fifty is Amazon telling you "You don't have anywhere else to turn, so we're going to rape you for our amusement".

I get the distinct feeling I'm going to need to go on a road trip. All the online places are only offering exorbent prices, or the 'super duper package' that's like 550$. Anyone gotten good suggestions for games?
Besides Twilight Princess and Super Paper Mario.

I have found Toys-R-Us to be incredibly well stocked in Wii related items, due to most people not realising they had the stuff. I'd really suggest a multiplayer racing game, those are a blast to kick back with.

I will be getting one for my birthday. I will have to buy the games though, but that's OK for me, seeing that the Wii comes with Wii Sports. So far, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Metroid Prime 3 and SSBB have caught my attention, so that is the main reason why I want the Wii now. But it is still to find one, since the day I went to EB games to buy Diamond, there wasn't a single Wii left on stock. Wow.

I have to re-buy my Wii, since I sold mine shortly after launch for a bundle. Now that Pokemon Battle Rev is coming...have to quickly get another.
But there are othergood games out there. Warioware is good. Zelda of course. But what looks interesting to me is the Bust-a-Move game where EIGHT people can play at once on the same board. CRAZY! And I just love that game as it is so I might pick it up when it gets a little cheaper. Sadly...most of the games that look good to me are all Japan only. Hajime no Ippo, all the Naruto games (both the GC and PS2 series have made the next gen jump to the Wii together), this really cool train simulation game they got, etc...

Eh, since you refuse to shop at Wal-Mart, I suppose you will be chagrined that my bro found one there, and I have been playing Super Paper Mario like a fiend.

Of course, you can do what I'm doing: downloading some games of yore to your Wii and live with them until the drought ends.
