Just posting so you know - I'm having the problem too. It took nearly a minute for the quick-reply window to pop up.

It's going particularly slow where i live.

Sixth'd. I had a hell of a time getting to my PMs, once I closed the window and opened up it wasn't much better.

They're running slow for me, too, even when my connection isn't.

I might as well put my name in here too. I got a new improved connection and it's still horribly slow. I feel sorry for the poor people on dial-up connections.
