Lands of the Wicked ~ First Campaign

The members of the adventure group were gathered. The individuals all decked out in assorted equipment that gave them a distinct edge over the normal peasant when dealing with deadly entities.

The entire group stood outside of the Oracle, awaiting the words. They chose from their organized mob a singular person to speak with the Oracle, and so it was that Tophat approached the Oracle and requested direction.

The Oracle responded.
"To the north the lands of ice are driven mad with creatures of the frost. The hoard itself is led by a singular creature, one who is of a minor threat to one such as yourself, oh brave Gargoyle."

"To the south I can feel and see the death that most would not wish to touch nor deal with. A spiritual rift has been found, one that is rapidly growing into a full blown danger. Without proper protection from the heavens and courage of the heart you and your allies will be devestated."

"The last potential choice for you is one I recommend against wholeheartedly. Nay, I must strongly say that if you are to go upon that path you will die, as you are still young and what lies to the west is ancient, dark and deadly. It spreads fires in the towns, it pillages and takes and hoards, it leads an army of Goblins and Drakes. It is the Destroyer of Heroes and the Bringer of Savagery."

The Oracle grew quiet, and Tophat returned to his friends, telling them what he had learned.

What lay before the group was a choice.

~ Choice 1 :: The Ice Beast of the North ~ (Easy)
~ Choice 2 :: The Southern Ghosts ~ (Moderate)
~ Choice 3 :: The Western Devil ~ (Hard)

I'm all for Choice 1 seeing as how I still don't understand how to heal in combat yet and how it's determined. Besides it'd be nice for us to get a feel for things in "Easy" mode.

Choice 2, I'm not going to waste time dealing with some wimpy gargoyle.

Also, I added one point to my HP and took one away from Escape, just in case you missed it.

Edit: So it is Top-Hat, I misread that. It still isn't worth our time though.

Choice 3 - I say we weed out the weaker members who are only holding us back!

Edit, secretskull, the gargoyle being referred to is in fact me, we don't as yet know what leads the northern hoards.
