Private message pop-ups

I got a new pm, and every time I come to the forums the pop-up comes up telling me I have a new private message, no matter how many times I click on it or reply or whatever. But only when I initially come to the forums.

Its happened with a few different PMs so far.

Edit: Okay, I disabled the pop up feature, and deleted all my PMs, but every time I come to the site it all goes back! The only thing to suggest the PMs are deleted is if I click delete again it says invalid.

Clear your browser's cache, and perhaps delete the cookie for the forums and log back in.

im 90% sure that it's a cookie issue, cleaning these out should put you in the clear

what browser are you running?

reference for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer:

IE users: when the window is pulled up....
1. Click on Tools menu
2. Click the Internet Options button
3. Somewhere on the screen will have the button: "Delete Cookies"

For Firefox (all versions):

1. Click on the Tools menu
2. Choose Options
3. Choose the Privacy tab
4. Under "Private Data", click on the settings button.
5. Check the cookies box if not already checked
6. Click OK on the options and settings.
7. Click on the Tools menu again
8. Select "Clear Private Data" and everything that was checked in the window after going through step 6 will be deleted.
9. Try then

Just as a quick reference. Could be different for FF, but i doubt it even though i'm using firefox portable.
