Anyone up for DnD?
We should get a DnD game going. Who's up for it?
Preferably 3.5 as those are the only books I have. :P (As always, I don't want to GM.) |

I'd play. I might possibly GM, actually. But I have kinda a terrible habit of never actually getting/keeping such things going.

I'm good at Dnd, Rp it well, and am willing to write a good backstory for my char/s. Although I will heavily lean towards full caster I'm also willing to fill the Meat shield role if no one else is.

I would love to try, but it would be my first time (Although I done lots of reading), so I would like some assistance if ever possible. In particular, I'm thinking of going Divination specialist Wizard that bans Evocation. (Specializiation bans 2 schools unless it's Divinination where you only ban one.)

If you allow the complete X series, I will join as the party fighter.
It's just that playing fighters without feat choice is... Not playing fighter. Edit: Or rogue! I love being sneaky.

I'll see how my schedule looks, as I might be starting up D&D again with my RL group. If time lets me, I'll play... somethingerother. Not a goddamned bard, as I seemed to be doomed with those guys.

So, do we have a GM? I assume by Argent's post he's not gonna, but I dunno.
I really want to get this game running. And Khael better play! If I'm not the GM, I'm gonna go with sorcerer, or maybe ranger. Ooh, or druid. Quote:

You could ask questions like "what sort of monsters will we fight today?" and as a reply receive a cryptic rhyme about fire. Then you're probably going to prepare some ice-based damage spells. I don't think it's quite that useful though as a) the spell has a certain chance to not work and b) if you cheese it too much you're probably going to get either incredibly cryptic replies, hints about completely insignificant events ("Marrok the Dwarf will find himself struggling with a bloodsucking fiend," 2 hours later he gets bitten by a mosquito and there you are with your anti-vampire-spells) or incomplete hints ("You shall face an elemental spirit of the cold North" and an elder fire elemental right afterwards)
