Rokrin will become famous soon enough. Eventually. Maybe.
Default Rokrin makes a campaign!

Alright, it's been a very long time since I made a campaign setting, but given the lack of material to feed my lore appetite of late (Ivalice aside), I decided about 2 hours ago that it would be prudent to shove my hands back into the world-building pudding and give it a go.

So far I've got basic geographical details worked out with some minor, MINOR demographics. A map will hopefully be coming soon that involves the placement of certain borders and ilk, but basically the section I'm homing in on here is a mixture of deciduous forest/boreal forest, as well as your standard mountain ranges and ilk. So very foresty, with prairies/plains as you move more towards the south of the given island continent. The races currently include the races detailed in the 4E handbook, although I am looking to implement something like the Warforged based on the fact that I enjoy contraptions and always liked gnomish ingenuity, and therefore I like the ideas of artificers, their creations, etc. The humans are your standard "we live everywhere because everywhere is our home" kind of deal, and the Dragonborn live higher up in the mountains, on the outsides (where the dwarves are lower down and like their tunnels). I haven't quite worked out specifics for the other races yet, especially Eladrin.

What I'm coming to you guys for now is ideas of all kinds and all types. Be it how a certain race looks, acts, feels, ideas for demographics or towns, monarchies...you name it. There are people here with absolutely astounding ideas for mechanics or devices, and I'm hoping those people have some ideas to share. I'm going to end up using Obsidian Portal to hold my details, so I can edit it wherever without worrying about transferring files, so obviously I'll give idea credit where credit is due...

And yeah, it's a fairly large project stemming from something as simple as a lore craving, but I suppose that's what makes it fun for me!

I'm working on my own Spelljammer campaign right now. I won't be able to play with it until September, so I'm going to have a lot of stuff mapped out. I fully intend to use this campaign setting for multiple campaigns; the possible scope is just immense.
