Inglorious Basterds OR "Is Tarantino Doing a Holocaust Movie As An Oscar Grab?"
Judging from the trailer, no, no he is not.
But yeah, first actual trailer, and from the little we get I'm kinda pumped. After the recent bout of 'Good' Nazi movies it should be fun to see a bunch of Allies just go to town in a torrent of stylized blood and mayhem.

With Brad Pitt.
This will either completely and utterly fail or be completely and utterly awesome. I'm not seeing much middle ground. EDIT: Also, Samuel L. Jackson is narrating. Wow. Last edited by Mr.Bookworm; 02-11-2009 at 08:58 PM. |

Brad Pitt, Mike Myers, Samuel L Jackson.
All brought together under Quentin Tarantino to make a violent movie about ruining Nazi shit. How could this possibly go wrong? I'm gonna see this on opening night if I can.

I had imagined it a lot differently, although I don't know why.
