I think its hilarious and adorable that she thinks she can ruin them, and I don't even LIKE Radiohead.
I hate Miley Cyrus, I really do. Even more so now because before I thought she might at least be kind of nice I guess, if stupid? But she acts and talks like every prissy stuck up bitch from high school. And really goddamn fast and high pitched. And those DJs are hardly any better. Idiots. |

Ugh. Miley Cyrus. Ugh.
I don't know what it is about teen-oriented or teen-idolized stars. After hearing an Avril Lavigne interview (not by choice) and just accepting the fact that she's like 99% air-headed twink, that ugly stoner kid from Twilight won't shower... Geez. What's with the "teen-scene" these days? |

My favorite band never fails to deliver.
I remember when I first heard this I was cracking up! Fuck Miley Cyrus, Thom Yorke is a god for snubbing her (AND Kanye West, which I did not know about). Awesome!!

Nickleback snubs Russel Peters.
...Seriously, is this news? I'm just imagining half of the celebrity populace's monocals falling into their champagne, while saying "Why I never," and "How dare they!" Or, in Miley Cyrus' case, her My Little Pony plushie being flung across the room and knocking over the tiniest piece of the massive collection of Radiohead memorabilia in her room as she slams the door in anger, yet already writing MySpace emails to whatsisface about how she'll never listen to their music again and never buy tickets for their shows and she's gonna sell all of her stuff and tear up her fan club membership and write crappy kiddy country songs about why Radiohead is a bunch of meany meany dumb dumb poo heads but she won't if Radiohead tells her that they'll see her. Wait, it's Miley Cyrus. She's probably crying to her much more talented and even though he's a country musician is still kind of listenable and whose career she's coasting on kind of like Nancy Sinatra only Nancy Sinatra was good dad, that she doesn't want money to finance her Christmas album for her birthday, she wants Radiohead to come and perform. Hm. My niece watches her show. I though Cyrus was actually harmless before this.
What is this radio show the interview with Cyrus is on? Everyone is babbling so much. |

Congratulations, you watched MTV during the 90s. Seriously, I was younger than Cyrus when I first listened to them, and I can guarantee that she's cooler and more musically knowledgeable than I was back then. So she's a teenage girl that got her heart broken because her favorite band wouldn't meet her. Happens all the time. And then she goes on a radio show and actually goes out of her way to not name them, and it's only after 9 minutes of people bugging her about it on air that she does so. And then after that she sounds like she's just sort of kidding around and actually defending them a bit when the other people on the show start trying to knock their sound. Don't get me wrong, I think her music is terrible and I can't in good conscience support any creation of Billy Ray Cyrus, but I'm not going to be unfair to someone just because Rolling Stone tells me to. Their January issue stated that Guile was from Mortal Kombat, for crying out loud, so my faith in them isn't exactly strong. That's honestly a worse offense than calling her good.

I mostly posted the story so I could yell out 'IT'S MILEY!', with some dashes of amusement mixed in. I do love me some The Soup.
