Whoo! Classic gaming Collectibles!
Just picked up Final Fantasy on my lunch break! Why is it they never include the original box at pawn shops and game trader stores?
Anyway, exciting find to add to my collection! What gems have you found at your locale gamer shoppe ye olde bargin bin?

I found Summon Night: Swordcraft Story a month ago. It's not exactly old, but it was in the bargain bin. It was US$50. What a great bargain bin, huh?

A few years ago, back when I still used my ps2, I found FF7 + 8, and Resi 3. Resi was pretty cheap, the FFs... not so much, but having never played them and having loved Resi I bought them all.
Never did finish those FFs though. :shifty:

What a coincidence, I just finished the main story of Summon Night a few weeks ago and I'm currently playing Summon Night 2. You're using drills, right? Of course you are, high five!

Black label? Is this slang for initial (as opposed to Greatest Hits) release?
I got FF Chronicles, Chrono Cross, Legend of Mana, and several other PS1 games out of bins or second hand. I'd also count all the old PC games I got out of bins, but funnily enough, most of them are abandonware now. XD

Someome must have come across a huge crate of Full Throttle and Sam & Max Hit The Road, because lately I've been seeing them everywhere for only €3. That's obscenely low.

Drills are awesome, and I've recently got my hands on what I call the awesome Konami pack, Metal Gear solid 2 + Zone of the Enders for under 10 bucks.
On the Summon Night drills note, did anyone else feel raw raw fight the power when they pulled off the charge attack?

I think the best thing I ever picked up was Earthbound for 7 dollars, I mean, as far as my favorite game. I've found almost all of my pre-PSX games in pawn shops. though, so everything from Star Fox to Contra III to Killer Instinct and all that I've found in pawn shops. Even stuff like Mystic Quest and such. I got the original FF at a yard sale FINALLY and then Square released FF Origins that same year. Way to go Square. (FF Origins was easier to play, though).
Pawn shops were by and large far superior to the new GameStop-esque model because they just had a price ceiling on the games, not ranking them by so-called "rarity", which is often a falsity. Why are there like six hundred CT cartridges on eBay (for like 50 bucks a piece) if its so "rare"? It's because it's not really rare at all. But yeah games like CT and FF6 I could never find. I had to make do with Breath of Fire II and Earthbound, which was by and large fine by me.
