Seriously. I mean god DAMN that's some good work. Every other page is just downright orgasmic. And then he writes almost as well as he draws. He's got crazy intensity.

Anyone else keeping up with the manga? Zodd and Guts fighting together was just god damned awesome sauce. I can't wait for the fight between Griffith and the Kushan emperor.

Well fortunately, the official translation is almost caught up. I think it's at volume 28 now.

What I find funny is that the official translation subtitles the sound effects. I think it's because Miura just makes them look so cool, that removing them would take something away from it.

What I think is funny is that Miura goes months without making a new chapter. And by "funny, " I mean "hurry up before you keel over from old age, Miura!"

But, yeah, terrific comic, even with the softened tone this last decade.

Given the attention to detail in his art, I'm guessing he takes a long time to draw that shit.
