Ventrilo: Copy Info to another Comp?
Ventrilo Question:
I use Windows XP. When I installed Ventrilo I left everything as default during the installation. I'm about to do a wipe-n-reinstall of my computer. I have a number of ventrilo server's information saved to my client. For some of these servers, it would be difficult to obtain the info again. What would I need to do in order to preserve the information so I can put it on a fresh install? Much appreciated Extra- Case in point. I run with a lot of different people in World of Warcraft. Over the years, I've gathered Ventrilo information from a number of guilds. It makes it a lot easier to play with them if I can quickly connect to their servers and talk with them instead of typing or waiting for them to post their info. Same is true for a few DotA teams and Team Fortress 2 clans. |

Go to your desktop
New file Text document Go to Ventrilo Click the arrow next to the server name Copy the names down, and their server info Upload the text file to somewhere, probably www.mediafire.com Or, hey. GET A PIECE OF PAPER AND WRITE THEM DOWN

Go go easier way.
I lol'd. I mean, it's true and a good method.
You could also check "C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\Ventrilo\ventrilo2.ini" or similar for your server information and just copy it.
