My 800-dollar computer runs like crap
When it runs well it runs GREAT but a lot of the time I'm getting stupid random system errors and the computer frequently freezes when opening or running a game. Malwarebytes and Webroot both say I'm clean for viruses, so something else must be the cause. Someone pointed out that it may be problems with my registry? Anyone might know more about whats causing this/how to fix it?

But is it any good? On an 800 dollar computer I would be wondering if your video card was up to playing the games you want to play or if maybe you're lacking in ram or even processor power.
What games are you playing? Are they newer? Older? High resolutions? Low?

You'd need a pretty messed up registry to slow the computer down significantly. How old is it?

What kind of errors are you getting?
In general, this may help performance: It's possible that there's a lot of useless garbage starting up with your OS. Download Microsoft's sysinternals and run the autoruns program. There is an option in a dropdown to hide all microsoft and windows entries. Choose that. You'll probably have to restart the program afterward. Deselect everything that you don't want coming up with your computer. Deselect all "file not found" entries. Same for programs you have uninstalled including old virus scanners that aren't in use. Close program. Restart computer. This often gets rid of a lot of those error messages.
