Potential virus on the forum

my anti-virus detected a browser virus while I was looking over the forum. Just thought I'd mention it

Mine didn't detect anything. Could it be a False positive? I have AVG free and IObit security 360 here

Mine comes up sometimes saying that this forum is unsafe, think it might have to do with some of the ads?

Got Firefox? Get NoScript. It's good protection.

yea I do know its possible to do that.

and it doesn't bother me, as I said my anti-virus got it. But assuming there is a virus, might get through to some people. So I thought I'd mention it incase there was anything that could be done

There is absolutely nothing that can be done if we don't have any more detailed information than "my antivirus said there was a virus." Any further details, any information as to what it was trying to do, on which page exactly, what ads showed up at the time etc.? Could you see if you can reproduce it and copy the message exactly or take a screenshot?

I use combo adblock flashblock on firefox and run AVG, spybot, process explorer and symantec and I hear no bells or whistles, and feel no pain.

that one happened on the main page, original was in the RP forum. Happened about about 11:40pm EST
