Tron guy said it nearly moved him to tears, I guess
Tron Legacy is simultaneously being praised and reviled it seems. I haven't seen it yet but the fact that it's so polarizing makes it sound pretty promising. Anyone seen it?

I really enjoyed it, made for a nice night out and it was fairly humorous and had some nice action scenes

Is this one also about good Christian men fighting the forces of international Communism, Marc?

I'm betting this falls simular to Duke Nukem Forever. On the one side you have fanboys that will praise it no matter what, and the other are the fanboys that have waited so long that nothing will meet those expectations.
I think thats why so many people fall in one extreme or the other

Lasers and explosions and those motorcycles, kids! It's Tron!
Where's the extreme for "yet another stupid thing made into a typical Hollywood movie"?

Not commenting on the actual quality of the movie. Just saying that reguardless you'd get this kind of response

Saw it. It was good.
Kinda irritated me in one spot, but it was otherwise pretty rad.

It was incredible in IMAX and I plan to see it at least one more time. It's an orgasm for the eyes.
One question though. Why did Tron stop being evil all of a sudden near the end? |
