New Win7 machine
Hey guys, bought my g/f a laptop for xmas, and just trying to figure out how I am supposed to make a backup CD for windows now that it's operational. I expected it to give me the option to do so immediately after it was turned on for the first time, and the initial setup ran. It's been a LONG time since I've bought a brand new PC, and need help with this one.
Thanks for the help guys, and MERRY CHRISTMAS! Enjoy the weekend!

hmm... ok, maybe I`m asking the wrong question... Let me try to explain better...
i was under the impression that when you buy a brand new computer that you also get the ̣perating system with it.... for example, say this new laptop goes on the fritz, and i want to Format the drive, and reinstall windows fully, is that what a backup disk does. edit: sorry for the shitty grammar, and such.... the keyboard is set to a european language currently.
